Modern island pfm bldg 02
A 'modern' long island platform building (waiting area and services) described in 1964 as part of British Rail's modernisation plan. The building is modular in construction with panels 40 inches (1 metre) wide. Red panels as at Macclesfield station matching my 'Modern SB UK 02' and 'Modern SB UK 08a' to'08i'. This shelter requires an island platform at least 7 metres wide.
