Modern island pfm bldg 03
A 'modern' long island platform building (waiting area and services) described in 1964 as part of British Rail's modernisation plan. The building is modular in construction with panels 40 inches (1 metre) wide. Grey panels as at Strood station matching my 'Modern SB UK 03' and 'Modern SB UK 09a' to'09i'. This shelter requires an island platform at least 7 metres wide.
