BR Hudswell Clarke D2008 GUINNION Howard Doris

Two of these Hudswell Clarke locomotives were used at the Howard Doris oil rig fabrication works at Stromeferry serving the Loch Kishorn operation between 1976 and 1979. The locomotives were at Inverness depot in 1975 awaiting a tow to Stromeferry. The locos were sold for scrap in 1983 to John Laurie (Aberdeen) Ltd. Evanton and were gone by May 1983. The locomotive details are as follows:
