NZR DM Motor unit blue:built to Trainz SG, not NZR 3ft. 6
These English Electric units were introduced to Wellington, New Zealand in 1938. Initialy used on the Wellington to
Johnsonville line, they were also later used on the Hutt Valley line. The blue livery was short lived and all refurbished
units were repainted with the familiar N.Z.R. red.
