NZR Ganz Mavag EM multiple unit: built to Trainz SG, not NZR 3ft. 6
These Hungarian, Budapest units were introduced to Wellington, New Zealand in 1980. Initialy used on the Wellington to
Hutt Valley line, they were also used on the TAWA DEVIATION - Paekakariki and later to Waikane line.They were not granted
running rights on the Johnsonville line due to size constraints.
