Triple catenary - L, for the Wellington area of New Zealand, carries the 1500v.d.c.lines. This style of catenary is used from Wellington city up tp Waikanae and also the Hutt Valley. This is the NZR-3ft.6 version with the wire height at 18ft. approx.
