GSD: The Sand Isthmus (SI) separates the two large parts of the Green Isle (GI). Both GI East and GI WEST produce grain, food, manufactured goods and almost all of the Isle’s population. Large mountains separate GIE and GIW from the sea and from the SI. The SI ports represent 80% of GI’s access to the sea and the world. The SI generates the GI’s basic processed materials: steel, aluminum, plastic, oil, petrol, diesel, and others. It has the GI’s coal and oil reserves. It is the GI’s hub.
