PKP SM30-210 ZT Bydgoszcz Low

In 1957 prototype 1D diesel locomotive was built in Fablok factory at Chrzanow. It was the first diesel-electric locomotive built in Poland using a 300hp prime mover. Later classified as Lwe55 and in 1960 reclassified to SM30. Mass production lasted between 1957 and 1970 with a total of 909 locomotives. Polish state railways bought 302 of them, all others were used by the industry. In 2009 although rarely, the SM30 can be still found in regular service. This model represents SM30-086 from Jelenia Gora depot as she looked in 1976 serving Sudety region with light shunting work.
