SJ class Ue

Ue has its origin in the Ub engine which was built between 1930 and 1954. The renovation of Ub started 1987 and the engines were equppied with a multiple coupling system which made it possible to run 3 engines as one unit. A radio control system were also applied to the engines which made them easy to use during shunting. The orange livery was used by SJ during the 80's and 90's.
