BR class 108 DMCL D609 flush front. Numbered in the range M51561 to M51572, these vehicles were delivered as 2-car 'Power Twin' sets formed with D543 DMBS cars.

This model represents the typical unrefurbished condition of these vehicles from around 1976 to 1982.
