A key used for railway safeworking. Keys are held in locks that can be released by a supervisor (signalman, station master) if safeworking preconditions are met. The officer, who is issued with a key, uses it to unlock remote yard equipment (usually a lever frame).
The asset is a mesh to represent a key in the lock at the base of a releasing lever in an asset such as <kuid2:368725:90030:4> 'NSWGR mechanical lever frame for a signal box, 18-28 levers, for avatar operation'. By operation of the lever frame, the key can be transferred to a product queue of <kuid2:368725:15000:11> 'Safeworking Officer'. The key can then be taken by the officer to a yard frame, such as <kuid2:368725:90044:1> 'NSWGR mechanical lever frame for a station yard, 1-5 levers, for avatar operation', and used to unlock the frame.
