NSWGR station platform light, ground-mounted pole, no sign, single light
A hooded incandescent light, mounted on a 24-foot wooden pole. Pole is in ground immediately to rear of platform that is 1.2m above ground. Used for illuminating station platforms in NSW in the mid 20th century.
