A platform of 110m (362ft) long and 4m wide to serve a straight single-track main line. Based on the station 'Murrurundi' on the Main North line of NSW, Australia as it looked in the 1950s.
This asset is intended to mate with <kuid:368725:20482> 'station buildings complex, Murrurundi, NSWGR' which includes 2 awnings that extend over the platform.
A makeover of the platform in the 1980s raised its trackside height significantly, necessitating a ramped surface and steps to descend from trackside level to station building entrance level. This model shows that platform at its original uniform height of 2ft 4in (708mm) above rail level.
The model is an interactive industry asset configured to spawn a maximum of 13 passengers per train and absorb up to 14 alighting passengers per train.
At night, the asphalted section of the platform surface and the bench seats that sit under the awning lights of <kuid:368725:20482> will self illuminate. Since all passenger attachment points are under the awning lights, a night passenger set that self illuminates <kuid:95230:108004> has been utilised for both day and night modes. At dawn and dusk passengers may appear too bright against the day-mode platform.
In the Properties Editor a ramp at the Down end of the platform can be made visible/invisible. The ramp did not exist in reality. It is provided to enable Safeworking Officer avatars to move from platform to ground level.
