NSWGR LQ semaphore mechanical starting signal, oil lamp, 8ft clvR from 25ft wooden post

A lower-quadrant, mechanically-operated, semaphore starting signal with operation detection, mounted at the end of an 8ft platform cantilvered to the right from a 22ft wooden post. Original oil lamp is still in place. The semaphore can take 2 positions over the lowerer quadrant: horizontal (STOP), and -50 degrees (PROCEED).
The script for this signal checks that there is no train between the distant and home signals in advance, and holds the signal at STOP if a train is found. Therefore the correct AUTO operation of the signal depends upon the next signal on the path ahead being a distant, and the one after that being a home.
