Underground Entrance 'Stephansplatz

Stairway entrance to an underground subway station in the style of the 1920s. The model is the southern entrance and exit of the station Stephansplatz of the Hamburger Hochbahn AG at the intersection Esplanade/Dammtorstraße. It was designed by the Hamburg based architects Distel & Grubitz and opened on June 2nd 1929 as part of the so-called KellJung line between Kellinghusenstrasse and Jungfernstieg.
