SR/BR Station Platform Canopy Early 'Lean-to' Type

Typical SR/LBSCR Station Platform Canopy as constructed by the LBSCR before about 1870. Designed to but up against a building or wall, of heavier appearance and with a deeper valance than later designs. This is modelled on the ones at Hailsham on the Cuckoo Line in Sussex. Also suitable for use as a front entrance canopy (a model without columns is also available for this purpose). in SR/BR colour scheme. Modelled in high detail except for gutter feed pipes , which led under the roof to the columns, which were hollow and acted as downpipes. Pierced valances are alpha-mapped. The columns are extended below baseboard level to allow for extra height adjustment
