SECR/SR N Class BR Livery

The first 15 members of this numerous class were built to the design of the CME of the SECR, R. E. L. Maunsell. Large numbers were subsequently built in kitform by Woolwich Arsenal, to provide employment during the 1920s and 30s. As a result, they were affectionately known as 'Woolworths'.
