GE B40-8 Cotton Belt

Ctton Belt Bloody Nose Livery

In the early 1980s General Electric built the first examples of the Dash 8 locomotives. By 1988 the model designation changed from B39-8 to B40-8 accomodating minor changes and more horse power. The last Dash 8-40Bs were built in 1990 when General Electric started to built the B40-8W series with the so called comfort cab.
