The Buried Church (Sct. Laurentii Church) in Skagen, Denmark, was built in the late 1300s. The sand drift reached the church in the 1700s. The congregation eventually had to dig their way in to attend service, and finally abandoned the church in 1795. Part of the church was demolished, but the steeple left standing. Two thirds of it is still visible.

Den tilsandede kirke paa Skagen (Sct. Laurentii Kirke) menes opfoert i sidste halvdel af 1300-tallet. Sandflugten naaede kirken i slutningen af 1700-tallet. Menigheden maadte til sidst grave sig ind til gudstjeneste, indtil de endelig opgav kampen i 1795. Dele af kirken blev nedrevet, men taarnet staar tilbage. To tredjedele er stadig synligt.
