The Mount Macdonald Tunnel, with a length of 14.7 km/9 Mi is the longest railway tunnel in Canada. It was completed in 1988 after 4 years of work by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
It spans the Rogers Pass—a steep and narrow defile famous for its deadly avalanches- by means of a straight tunnel under Mt. Macdonald.
This tunnel was made for the MBC 2010 route by Cayden. The tunnel was requested by Charlielima.
