Union Pacific U50C

Union Pacific 5000hp General Electric U50C.

The U50C had two 2500hp prime movers in one carbody, and rode on refurbished gas turbine trucks.

The U50C was used by UP from 1970-1977. 40 were built and UP was the only railroad to own them.

This model has dynamic running numbers in Surveyor, prototypical numbers are 5000-5039.
