Vicrail S2 Comeng Enginespec

Victorian Railways Comeng suburban Electric physic with Disc Brakes, also been set up to switch into weak field at 40kph.

The tag 'max-tractive-effort' should be set to '81847.2' in the traincar config, when ever you set the throtte to 0 it'll automaticly turn on the Rheostatic Brake, the physic is also set up with strong slow speed T.E 'tractive Effort' due to slack of the train causing scripted stations to run the load process again when you try to move with slow acceleration, this way it prevents slack.

Notes: RHEOSTATIC BRAKE

In rheostatic braking the role of the traction motors is reversed and they are switched to operate as generators. The generated electrical energy is then dissipated in the form of heat energy with the aid of resistance grids. The energy so dissipated is derived from the forward movement of the train causing it to slow down. The amount of retardation is closely related to the amount of electrical energy the traction motors are asked to produce by the Driver's brake controller (braking current in amperes). The master controller supplies the power for the line breaker to set and supply 1500V do to the traction motor circuit. The prime difference in relation to the Hitachi train is that this system is separately excited. The field coils in this system are no longer in series with the armature, but are supplied with current through the agency of a separate excitation unit.
