VR D T1a - 1925+

Victorian Railways D Class Light Lines Passenger Locomotive was designed by Kitson & Co Engineering Leeds in England 1887 and was built by the Phoenix Foundry Ballarat from 1887 to 1888.

This model represents the last D class built by Phoenix Foundry after reboilering from 1908 and was numbered 92 taking up a number from one of the two wrecked Beyer Peachock Locomotives, not much is known on D 92 on it's where abouts, after reboilering a 3ton steel plate was added under the footplate for more adhesion

This locomotive was withdrawn May 1924 with the last of the class being scrapped in 1952, sadly none where preserved.
