Enginespec for the Victorian Railways Rail Tractor.

The throttle power has been setup to represent gears, it's got a 6 speed box.

The idea I put to this e-spec was for the notches to represent gears, notch 1 is 25% power of 1st gear with notch 2 being 50% power of 1st gear and notch 3 being full power of 1st gear which also has a high starting tractive effort up to at least 5km/h, then you need notch 4 for 2nd gear to go faster however tractive effort is reduced a little as you've gone to a slightly higher gear ratio, so heavy loads will require staying in notch 3, light loads you can get to 5th or 6th gear, it is also set so you can't start in 2nd gear or 3rd gear, must start in 1st gear, this will also obsolete the two older ones that I probably shouldn't have uploaded, they where at the time as AD602000 made a Freight Australia Rail Tractor intended for DLS release however he never released it, it was dodgy anyway as I was still learning how to set trainz physics up, I never updated them since a Rail Tractor was never released.

I'm uploading this for people to use on the none-released beta if they still have it and to update the older physics.


Notes: The real Rail Tractors do not have an automatic brake and have a Handbrake, the independant brake is setup as handbrake, also the physic is set up to charge brake pipe as it's needed to release air brakes in trainz, however the automatic brake does not control the brakes, their is a through brake pipe for being towed in consists, the tag 'max-tractive-effort 20000' should be used in the locomotive config to prevent wheelspin starting in 1st gear.
