SAR M T2a 1921+

Victorian Railways E Class 2-4-2 Tank was designed by Kitson & Co Engineering England 1888 and built by Phoenix Foundry Ballaarat 1889 to 1893, from 1920 to 1921 some of the Class was withdrawn and sold to South Australian Railways to become their M Class which had a short life as they where withdrawn by 1927, a few where still in service going into 1929 with number 257 being condemned 1935.

This model represents the class built by Phoenix Foundry Ballaarat and sold to SAR from 1920 to withdraw in 1929.
