VR TW10b - 1957+

The TW10 Tankers were built from S Flat Wagons which where originally built as E Open Wagons from 1925, during WWII 199 E Open Wagons where converted to S Flat Wagons, from 1946 most of the S Wagons where built back into E Open wagons, others where used for different types of wagons like SC/SCX Cable Drums, QC LCL, OT/TW Oil Tankers and HR Department Stock, S Wagons converted where 110, 179, 74, 152, 134, 42, 180, 200, 52 and 184.

This model represents the TW10 Tankers built as OT between 1948 to 1949 and numbered 225 through to 234, they where fitted with 3link and auto couplers so they could be used with older screwlink stock, buffers and 3link was removed late 1950's and recoded TW in 1961. These wagons could be seen around Melbourne, Spotswood, Geelong, Wodonga, Cudgewa, Stawell, Ballarat, Bairnsdale, Ararat, Mildura, Bendigo and Korrumburra.
