VR S Flat T1b - 1930+

The S Flat Wagons numbers 1 & 2 were built by the American Car & Foundry company in the U.S.A. and assembled at Newport workshops in 1925. The rest of the class were converted from E wagons for wartime traffic between 1940 and 1942.

This model represent S 1 in a dirty Condition and can represent 1930 through to 1950s, the 3link and buffers where removed from late 1950s when the VR was coverting all rollingstock and locomotives to auto couplers, stock that could not be converted where scrapped.
