South Geelong Station first Opened in 1883 connecting from Queenscliff and Winchelsea at South end Via a Junction at Wood Street with Geelong on North end, There was also a Narrow Gauge Tramway that went from the Station at Yarra Street then turning off Right to Fyans Street and went on for 2 miles to a Blue Stone Quarry where bluestone was loaded up onto trams and jh[orse drawn to South Geelong, the Bluestone was crushed at South Geelong and loaded onto wagons and used for ballast on constuction trains for Queenscliff and Port Fairy Lines.
