The E Cast 30/3136 40Ton Cast Steel Bogie was built at the Newport Workshops from early 1930's to be used on E Open Wagons.

This bogie was adopted to other stock later on in the years such as UB and S wagons, This is the Front Bogie, it is painted in the early Wagon Red, has spoke wheels, wheel diameter of 3ft0 1/4in and a wheelbase of 5ft9in and 4 coil springs on each side with plain bearings, b.r.base0 is located Z-Axis 0.
