VR ELF T1a - 1961

With the introduction of the Standard Gauge a new type of bogie open wagon was built in the form of a stretched E wagon and coded ELF, they where fitted with Load Compensating Brake equipment and later on Grade Control was fitted, ELF 1 was on register July 1961 with ELF 2 from Augest, from November 1961 to April 1962 numbers 1 to 20 where put on the Standard Gauge.

This Model represents Type 1 ELF wagons numbered 1 to 4 in as built before conversion to Standard Gauge, Step's created by Zec.
