MTR Tunnel City RR Heritage Center Doors Open
This is a Michigan Trainz Routes creation of the proposed Tunnel City Railroad Heritage Center, which if built, would look something like this. It would be located near the PH&D RR Historical Society and be a funtional part of the museum. This shop, if built, would allow for the learning of the skilled trade of the railroad industry from the late 19th Century to modern times. The shop would restore, rebuilt, fabricate, and repair all sorts of railroad equipment and rolling stock. It would also be a focus point for the rich railroad heritage of Port Huron, MI... Tunnel City, which was the location for the first international subaquatic railroad tunnel.
