Maine Central Portland Division

Re-live the glory days of New England railroading with this large 1950s era route! Loosely based on the real world Class I Maine Central railroad Portland Division this mostly double tracked layout covers in a selectively compressed manner that part of the route originating from Portland and travelling South to Biddeford, North to Livermore Falls, North-Northeast to Waterville, Northeast to Rockland and Northwest to North Conway. This layout is very detailed with a lot of scenery touches to give it an authentic New England 1950s feel. The layout has over 46 industries, many unique, and allows for extensive passenger operations as well. Lots of scenery and attention to detail so this layout will require a computer with very good graphics handling capability. Thank you to the many third party creators who make routes like this one possible! Setting is the 1950s during the late steam early diesel era. This is a multi-seasonal layout courtesy of mcguirel’s UltraTreez and UltraTextures. Minimum requirements are TRS2012 SP1 with all hot fixes applied. To provide comments and feedback on the layout, visit the official Maine Central Portland Division Official Support thread on the Auran Forums at: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?104714-The-Maine-Central-Portland-Division-Official-Support-Thread. This route CDP also Includes a separate photo image file of a 1948s passenger timetable map.
