New England Coastal EP-5 electric locomotive. Rectifier electric locomotive built by General Electric for the New Haven, 1954-1955. 11,000 volts AC or 600 volts DC, 4000 hp at continuous rating. Ten built, road numbers 370-379, surviving units passed to Penn Central. An update of the original done by pweiser who retains all copyrights for this item, and done with his permission.
