Gresley A3 Flying Scotsman loco as preserved with deflectors

The Flying Scotsman was rebuilt with a higher pressure boiler and converted to left hand drive in 1947, becoming part of the A3 class. In the late 1950's it was again rebuilt with a double chimney and German style smoke deflectors, and in this condition it was withdrawn in 1963. The model represents the 'as preserved' loco in LNER green with smoke deflectors and a double chimney.
