BR Midland Counties Maroon Class 47

This asset features scripted switchable snowploughs, cutaway bufferbeams, aerials, ETH jumpers and headlights in driver. Auto placing in surveyor sets each loco up with all the correct detail attachments. See the readme document for more details. Mesh alterations by Russell White and tmz06003, textures by 46035 used with permission and tmz06003, and scripting by tmz06003. The model is based on an original mesh made freely available by Tom Green (Tommylommykins). Thanks are due to many, including Tom for his permission to release this model,Russell White, eldavo, tmz06003 and the many skilled creators who have shared their modelling and scripting knowledge with the community over the years.

Reskinned by Warbo40. This asset represents class 47973 & 97561 in Midland Counties maroon livery. Locomotive was repainted into this livery in May 1989 and named 'Midland Counties 150 1839-1989 to commemorate 150 years of the said railway between Nottingham & Derby to Rugby. The locomotive was later renumbered to 47973 and later lost the livery and nameplates when it was repainted and re-entered traffic carrying InterCity mainline livery in April 1990.
