PRR Harbor Sub Model Railroadz

Inspired by an HO Scale layout featured in model railroader magazine.

The layout features lift bridges, barge connections, harbor services, a passenger station, and several industries to switch. There is also an extensive auxillary yard with services for both diesel and steam locomotives, along with a 130ft turntable and roundhouse built by Don49PLM.

This layout is ideal for the individual who might want to enjoy a busy scene of railfanning while switching or shunting, but may not have much longer than an hour to do so. A specialized staging yard features portaling systems which you can use to generate and consume rail traffic. A dedicated lead track allows you to enjoy yard activities without interrupting your rail traffic.
