TGR Fingal Line 1955 Morning Operations Session

Before attempting this session for the first time, please read the project manual that is available from the asset 'Fingal Line Safeworking Project',<kuid2:368725:200006:5>.

It is 07:20 at St Marys, the terminus of the Tasmanian Government Railways Fingal Line, on a typical weekday in 1955. Train 184 must be assembled and sent on its way. Train 171, with priority cargo, must be accepted from Conara Junction followed at 09:00 by the departure of train 186, a passenger railcar service.

In this simulation you will play the part of the various safeworking officers between St Marys and Conara Junction and will be responsible for the operation of track switches and signals, the issue and collection of right-of-way tickets and the exchange of ordinary and electric staffs. You will also be required to drive some of the trains.

The simulation will take just over 3 hours complete and it is recommended that you save regularly. Detailed instructions are displayed on-screen throughout the session.
