Usage - Restricted to 60 Kph Slow Goods Trains. No more than 200 Tonnes trailing behind this class of wagon.

These wagons were used for the transportation of cold goods.
Ice was placed in the comparments on the roof and the water drained away down the end of the wagon.
The axle boxes were grease-packed and were notorious for getting hot and the packing catching on fire.
