Baltimore & Ohio Q-4b 2-8-2 4493 tender

Baltimore & Ohio received the first USRA engines in 1918 - 100 Light Mikes numbered 4500-4599. This particular engines, as shown on page 130 of 'B&O Power' (Sagle and Staufer, 1964) was used in helper service. Since it would return after dark running in reverse, the headlight was centered on the smokebox front - unusual for B&O power - and a red marker light was mounted in the usual high headlight location. Tender for USRA Light 2-8-2.
Coal: 16 tons
Water: 10000 gallons
