SD40 Chessie WM 7596

Chessie owned 83 SD40's (7500-7536, 7545-7581, 7591-7599) and 20 SD40-2's (7600-7619). The SD40 can be said to have been the mainstay of the rail systems through the 70s and 80s, good pulling power with reliabile maintenance cycles.
