GP8 Iowa Interstate 451
In the 1970's, Illinois Central Gulf began rebuilding GP7's into GP8's and rebuilding GP9's into GP10's, upgrading the horsepower of each by 100.
Iowa Interstate began operations on ex-Rock Island trackage with a fleet of ex-ICG GP8's and GP10's.
