GKW Lyd2 Engine Sound

Lyd2 (manufacturer's designation L30H) - narrow-gauge locomotive mower manufactured in the years 1977-1982 by the Romanian factories in Bucharest FAURE, operated in Poland. Built on the versions of the track width of 600 mm, 750 mm, 785 mm, 1000 mm.
After the Polish tracks rode 75 of these locomotives, purchased since 1977. Most was used in industrial railways (750-785 mm gauge), 24 per station (mostly gauge 600 mm, three to the track 750 mm) and 7 of the Bieszczady Forest Queue (750 mm). After 1990, in the changed economic conditions, about half have been scrapped, a small portion remains efficient up to now (10/2010). A dozen units were sold abroad, to Germany, Great Britain, the Czech Republic and St. Kitts.
Lyd2 locomotive has a C-axis system and drive wiązarowy. Box of the locomotive is composed of the machinery space and the control of the rear cab of the locomotive. Drive a diesel engine MB83B its 350 hp (257 kW). Transmission occurs by means of hydraulic gear TH5R-V6. This gear automatically responds to changes in speed, depending on the load. Next drive is transmitted to the main gear and nawrotnik, electro-controlled from the control desk, and then through a blind shaft and trusses, the wheels of all three axes. The locomotive has a compressed air installation with two-stage piston compressor for the braking system of the locomotive and train, and pneumatic control. The cabin has two position control, for both directions of travel.
