The 80 class were constructed ny Comeng, Granville and a total of 50 were constructed. Road numbers range from 8001 to 8050. The 80s are powered by an Alco 12-251CE engine giving them a power rating of 1605kw or 2150hp. Top speed is quite a god one at 130km/h.
