This 60Klm route from TRINDER PARK to ROBINA may be used STAND ALONE or ADD ON to BRISBANE SOUTH (BOTH VERSIONS) will merge at KURABY, no terrain adj needed just join tracks and catenary. It will complete the 85Klm link from BRISBANE CENTRAL TO THE GOLD COAST.
Three stations service the coast with bus links as they are 8Klm inland.
Expecting to see our beaches and the high rise apartment buildings, it would be an anticlimax for tourists arriving by train!
High speed sections between BEENLEIGH and ROBINA have long straights and sweeping curves. I suspect you will ignore the posted 140K speed limit to try out your favorite trains.
