ALCO DL-109 NH Class DER-1 orange UPD

New Haven diesel locomotive, 60 built by Alco-GE 1941-1947. Road numbers 0700-0759. Used in both passenger and freight service, the 2000-hp A1A-A1A DL-109 foreshadowed the PA series and was one of few new diesels permitted to be built in the US during WW2.

This model is the special orange 'pinstripe' scheme.
