This is the town granary in the German town of Spalt, in the Bayern area of Southern Germany (Bavaria). This is where the local farmers would bring their sale ready crop (hops), to be held until transport via railway to the town of Georgesgmund, where it would then travel to Nuremberg for distribution to various beer breweries around Germany and elsewhere.
