The Arkwright Town Branch

The original Arkwright Town branch. This was closed in the Beeching era and partly reopenened as a Heritage Railway. From its connection with the main lines at Featherstone Junction, the branch serves a mainly rural farming community along its length as well as the small coal mine at the Arkwright end.
