GBW Alco C424 314

Swap the mainnumberless.tga file main.tga file in the body subdirectory by renaming the main.tga to like main3.tga and then rename mainnumberless.tga file to main.tga. This will remove the running or road number on the side of the locomotive. After selecting and placing the locomotive on the track, use the ? button while in Surveyor to assign any number you like to it. The Green Bay & Western Railroad Company employed four C424's with this paint scheme #311through #314. The Century 424 was a four-axle, 2400 horsepower (1.8 MW) diesel locomotive of the road switcher type. A total 190 were built between April 1963 and May 1967. Cataloged as a part of Alco's Century line of locomotives, the C424 was intended to replace the earlier RS-27 model and offered as a lower-priced alternative to the C425.
