2Bay Airslide Hopper Golden Loaf GACX 48199 LARS

Hopper now visible in T:ANE version 84356 and maybe higher. Also removed uniform color problem with shadow tga file. Chicken Neck Foundry presents a 2-bay airslide hopper. Looking more like a conventional covered hopper, airslides where first introduced in 1954 by General American Transporation Corporation. They feature a finely perforated interior fabric lining. The powdered or granulated load of usually flour or sugar is effectively liquified as it is forced out of the car under high air pressure via hose connections. It is also used to carry grains and other fine products. This later 48 ft model hopper's top hatches open and close with load and unload sounds and additional dust clouds at facilities like woodchips and LARS interactive industries. While usually dust free, this car also bellows clouds of it from under the bays as the hopper unloads. Thanks to Pencil42, Fitz505 and PhilC (his handles and couplers), whose assistance on prior type hoppers and cars made this one possible. Car has brake cylinder and reservoir, and couplers too. Created from the rails up with gmax Trainz Asset Creation Studio. Loads LARS and Auran products: barley, cement, corn, flour, grain hp, lose gravel, hops, limestone aggregate, malt, oats, peas, plaster, granular plastic, quartz sand, rice, sand, sand and gravel, soda ash, soya beans, sugar, taconite pellets, wheat, or woodchips. Note: Some are not appropriate for this type car.'
