RS3 Alco-GE Demonstrator 1607

Alco-GE marketed the RS3 by sending out several demonstrators, of which #1607 was the unit sent to the Interstate Railroad in the spring of 1953. It was nicknamed the 'Blue Goose' from its solid blue paint job and the blat-type horn which must have sounded like a dying goose to several employees. The demo was eventually sold to the INT and repainted as their #37.
